Escape Again is a real-life adventure game. Our games place teams in unique settings and require the teams to escape in 60 minutes. Teams must work together to find clues to solve a series of puzzles using elements found in the room. Gather your team, book a room and prepare for sixty minutes of fun.
Why wouldn’t you? The game provides a great alternative to standard experiences where you travel in a group but participate individually (i.e. the movies). Now it is vital that you and your friends work together in order to escape the room.
Nope. Just be willing to search for hidden clues and related items…and to use your brain! If you are really struggling, you may reach out to the Game Master to offer you a clue and get you moving in the right direction.
Our games are more than escaping a locked room. The story requires you to solve the mystery or find something that is missing. In the event of an emergency, or if you just need to use the restroom, you always have the ability to leave the room. And remember, each game is monitored on closed circuit video with audio to communicate with the Game Master at anytime.
Some of our rooms require you to work in dimmed lighting on some of the puzzles. You may be supplied with extra lighting in order to see and make your way safely through the room. If you have any questions about the lighting in a room, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
About 90 minutes. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your start time . This is essential. When you arrive you will receive a quick briefing on the game. Then the fun begins! You will be placed in the room and will have 60 minutes to get out. This will leave some time afterwards for fun photos with our cool props… or you could get the lame props if you don’t escape the room on your own. 🙂
You can leave your prom gown and tux at home. Wear anything you are comfortable in, but the most activity you will be engaging in may be squatting down or getting on your knees to look under or to get a closer look at something. If you wear reading glasses, bring them.
-Not everything is a clue.
-Separate and search! There is plenty to find.
-Communicate… if you find something, let others know.
-Keep the clues out in case you need to revisit them.
-Double check each other’s answers and searches if you are stuck! Also…
-There is no need to climb on anything… there are no clues above normal reach.
-There are no clues in any electrical outlets, plugs or cords.
-Items attached to the wall should not be removed. That is why we used screws to attach them to the wall.
-There is no excessive force or physical exertion required, so be gentle with things. No more than a finger’s pressure is needed.
-Don’t be afraid to be silly! This is a game – have FUN!:)
We have a large parking lot in front of our space. You will be able to park close to Escape Again.
Escape Again Rooms are wheelchair accessible.
We do allow service dogs. It’s a good idea to email us in advance at email@example.com to let us know you’re bringing your dog so we can give you a little more information about the room to make sure the room does not startle your hard working companion.
I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT BOOKING A ROOM
Yes, a reservation is necessary, but thankfully you can book online easily! Just click any of the ‘Book Now’ buttons. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Escape Again during our business hours.
If you want to reserve more than one room with them starting at the same time during our normal business hours then email us at email@example.com You have to email us to set this one up because we need to block off rooms before and after your booking to ensure that we do not have reservations that may overlap.
We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure your desired date and time are available. To add a reservation outside of our normal business hours (see hours in the footer below), email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Email us with a contact number, number in your party, and dates/times.
You have the option to book our rooms as public or private. If you reserve a public booking with less than 10 people you may end up playing with people you don’t know. If you reserve a private booking, only your group will be playing in the room.
Kids actually love the game, but we do have some restrictions outlined below. They will not be able to do it all on their own but they sure are good at finding things and linking things together.
Anyone age 14 to 17 can participate alone with a waiver (link to waiver) signed by a parent or guardian (just print, have signed and bring with). This age group is perfectly suited for our games.
Ages 5-13 must have one participating paying adult per 4 children. Children under 5 can attend but only if the room has been reserved by one group. It is not fair to another group, who has also booked spots in the room, to be distracted by a small child in the room.
If you are planning to book an event with children ages 5-13 please email us at email@example.com so that we can help you design a fun time for the kids.
We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This is essential to everyone’s experience, especially if you have not reserved the entire room to yourselves! The door to the room locks exactly at the time you signed up for. You will be permitted into the room if you are late but the clock will already be running. If you miss your scheduled time we will work with you to reschedule but our spots book up quickly and there is no guarantee that another time will be available that day. Please account for traffic and plan accordingly.
You can change or cancel your reservations up to 24 hours before your reservation (up to one week for Private Parties) directly from the “Manage your booking” link in your confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation email, you may have entered your email incorrectly so email us with your date and time and we will fix it. If you have an emergency on the day of your booking please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
In order to use Escape Again Rooms, all persons must first read and sign our release form. This release covers any potential accidents that may occur and gives Escape Again Rooms all rights to using any pictures or video of attendees captured during the game. Your check in experience will be much easier if waivers are filled out before you arrive.
No – and we love to do that for you or your special person. All you need to do is reserve a room entirely to yourselves, and make a note in the comments section of your reservation. We will take care of the rest! If you want to put something physical in there (like a ring or birth announcement), either arrange to drop it off beforehand or slip it to one of our employees right before.
Yes! We offer good, clean fun with an attractive lobby & two spacious lounges. We can also add a personalized message in the room to make it extra fun for the special person! Just include a note in the comments section of your reservation. You can reserve during our regular business hours or book a Private Party.
NOTE: ** We reserve the right to refuse admittance to people appearing visibly intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. In this scenario, you will receive no refund or rescheduling. We take the safety of our staff and other guests very seriously. Trust us, you will do a lot better in the rooms if you have all of your wits about you! 🙂
We have two spacious lounges. One lounge comfortably seats up to 16 people. Our larger lounge comfortably holds up to 40 people. Remember that we can have up to 30 people playing our rooms at any one time. So bringing in a large team, playing our rooms and then celebrating afterwards is a fun and convenient way to commemorate a special event or develop camaraderie within your team.
You may bring food, drink and/or alcohol. We have had many parties who have catered their events and parties that celebrated with a traditional pot luck.
If you choose to bring alcohol please note that our staff may not transport, serve or touch any alcohol during your event. At the end of the event we may dispose of the containers but at no time are we allowed to touch any alcohol.
If alcohol is present for your event, we recommend playing the room first and then celebrating after. Remember we do not allow players into our rooms if they appear intoxicated. We love for you to play our rooms but there are some things we absolutely do not want to clean up or have to fix due to overindulgence in the libations.
